Participated in the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital Cancer Symposium and presented the latest studies and shared personal patient treatment experiences. The session was very fruitful in terms of networking with the experts of the field. Shaukat Khanum Hospital is a premium institute for treatment of cancer patients in Pakistan.
Champalimaud Foundation Annual Conference, Portugal
Annual conferences participation are very useful to keep abreast with the upcoming and most updated treatments. Some brilliant medical studies were presented in the conference at Champalimaud Foundation, Portugal. It was also a good opportunity to meet old colleagues.

Dr. Muhammad Tayyab was part of the Charity Surgery Panel which provided the free of cost services to the underprivileged people of the area who can not afford such expensive treatment on their own. Through this activity a good number of patients were treated in a short span of time.

In the last three decades or so, the surgical community has moved to surgery by laparoscopy. Then in 2013, robotic surgery came in. Essentially, this still means using the minimally invasive approach, but the robotic system allows you a much better view of the operation site and access to better tools. Dr. Tayyab completed this Robotic Surgery Training successfully from European Academy of Robotic Colorectal Surgery in Lisbon, Portugal.
